Along with the many historic attractions in Pittsburghl; Kennywood, The Pittsburgh Zoo, The Pirates and the museums; there are also tons of outdoor events happening all around the city!
From out of town? Check out local events on Facebook or just Google what's happening and you will find outdoor markets in numerous locations featuring local artists such as ourselves. We are members of the I Made It! Pittsburgh Nomad Indie Artisans group. The group will be featured on weekends near the Wholey's Fish Market in The Strip District throughout the summer. There are also pop up markets and the Squirrel Hill Nights Out. In two weeks, July 17th from 2:00 until 10:00 PM you will find 30 artisans from the group participating at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Banks Feed More Festival rocking out with the musical lineup and raising money for the local food banks. A portion of all sales through the I Made It! Market group will benefit local food banks. By purchasing from one of these artisans you ae helping those who are hungry as well as those in the local art community to continue to do what it is we love doing! Supporting the local arts has been a fundamental ingredient in the rise of Pittsburgh from the ashes of the mills to the beautiful city it is today. Please come, visit buy and be a part of what is happening still in Pittsburgh! Here are some links to a few of the local outdoor events you may enjoy!
